Overview
About Me
Well, people say various things: I can be very quiet, losing myself in my thoughts and ideas; I can be loud, having the need to express myself, to have all-night-long-conversations; I can be indulgent, wanting to dance, to draw; to drink...
Being a bit of a perfectionists and an athlete.
I consider myself as a low-budget traveller, I hike and hitchhike a lot and I would always prefer the overland traveling over taking a plane.
I always try to learn the language (at least some phrases) of the country I'm currently in because this usually makes the differences between "being a tourist" and "getting in touch with the culture", i.e.
it opens enormous gates.
PHILOSOPHY
One thing leads to another.
Everything is connected.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
****
Loving the fact, that instead of being a tourist who is just trying to get their way around, you'll actually have a friend who enjoys to host and show you around.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There was once a storm in the evening...
I was on the beach at Hoi An, Vietnam, the lightnings were hissing like snakes over the sky, not daring to hit down into the black sea
and by every lightning, the sky turned from dark blue to red-violett.
I sat there on the beach, getting drenched by the rain and wouldn't move at all.
Teach, Learn, Share
I learned therapeutic massages in Chiang Mai.
I can also help with learning languages and herbal medicine.
I want to get better in muay thai (that's what I'm doing right now!), to learn more about anatomy/ medicine/ physiotherapy and to learn more languages.
