About Me

CURRENT STATUS:

I am currently exploring South America, since January of 2015, with my partner in crime Gemma. If you want to see what we've been up to I have blog going details all of our shenanigans: www.dairyfruit.co.uk.

We love seeking new experiences, exploring the awesome landscapes on this continent, and of course taking the journey by walking / trekking / bus-ing / flying one place at a time.

WHAT'S NEXT?

Well, we will keep travelling as long as we can but we will be going back home soon to visit old friends and attend a few weddings. This will be a good time to think of where to go next and what to do next, but there is literally a world of possibilities!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Along our travels we have heard so many great things about people hosting / being hosted.

So we have decided to join in on the good times!

Interests

As you might have guess, travelling is pretty up there; due to the ability to experience new places, cultures and people.

Next up is photography, which I feel compliments travel really well; it is always a great challenge to try and capture the various special moments during your life.

Food makes a big difference in day to day life as well! I am always keen on trying and learning about new foods. This goes hand in hand with beer as well, we are always keen to seek our new types of beers to try (especially from craft breweries!).

Martial arts (it is actually how Gemma and me met) has been a big part of my life as well, I have been a practitioner of Shorinji Kempo for 8 years now and the combination of the philosophical and technical aspects still challenge me now!
