About Me
Hello there! I'm Ursula, an anthropology student, currently living in Berlin, Germany, but born and raised in Austria (the small country in Europe, where all the weird mountain people live).
One important thing about myself: I suck at writing "Something about me" sections. Never know what to write. So rather than boring or entertaining you with my biography, just drop me a message if you are interested in meeting up and I'll tell you more over a drink or two.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Probably the same reasons as most of the other people on CS - to meet interesting people, get to know local perspectives, find a nice place to stay and the like.
Interests
Anthropology, obviously, so all the stuff related to humans, culture(s), languages, politics and so on.
Somehow connected to that: Travelling, seeing and experiencing different places, meeting different people.
A bit less serious: nerdy stuff - big fan of various series like Dr. Who, Sci-Fi stuff, and movies in general.
Food and drinks - always like to try new things and cook.
Used to read a lot - and I still do, but nowadays mostly university related books.
And probably some other things I can't think of right now.
- culture
- books
- dining
- cooking
- beer
- drinking
- politics
- movies
- traveling
- outdoor activities
- hiking
- anthropology
- languages
- biking
- feminism
Music, Movies, and Books
A lot.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you are learning English or German, I would be happy to help you out with your (and my) conversation skills. I can also offer to proof read various texts in English and German or help you out with structuring texts, writing applications and so on.
I'm always interested to know more about different places in the world and how it is to live there and I'd happily tell you more about living in Austria/Germany/Europe.
And I also like share travel stories over a nice cup of tea/a beer ....
What I Can Share with Hosts
Apart from the language/writing stuff mentioned under "Teach/Learn/Share" I consider myself to be a pretty good cook and I'd be happy to cook you a nice dinner/lunch.
