About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See as much of the world as I can, make new friends, enjoy every moment

ABOUT ME

*I am not currently verified because I dont own a credit card to pay the verication balance and have just moved into an apartment where I dont know the address yet, so I will wait until I am back in New Zealand to get verified. Please dont let this put you off of hosting me.* :)

My name is Ursula, I am a 22 year old kiwi chick living in Mexico working as a spa receptionist at a hotel resort, saving money, and trying to see whats outside of New Zealand, get a global perspective rather than NZ being the centre of the Universe. Experience a different culture. I am interested in travelling more, music (all types), dancing, movies, good food, lots of things :)I went to school for tourism so plan to hopefully get a job as a travel agent when I arrive back to New Zealand. At the moment Im just keen on seeing the world and having a great time, Im also really open minded and laid back so yea thats basically me :)

PHILOSOPHY

I think that everything happens for a reason. The butterfly effect. You may not realise the reason, but eventually you will. Even if something bad happens, something good will come out of it. ```dont spend too much time looking at the closed door otherwise you will forget to see the open window``

I really believe in Karma. What goes around comes around. I always try to have good intentions because I know it will come back to kick my butt. twice as hard

I think you really need to live in the moment, because you never know what will happen tomorrow

I think you should never take anything for granted, because there will always be somebody out there who doesnt have it. At the same time however, you can not be good at everything, so there will always be somebody who is better at something than you

Nothing is impossible

If you want something bad enough, it will happen. No excuses. If you want it bad enough you will find a way to make it happen. And if you dont, you obviously didnt want it bad enough

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm traveling at the moment and want to use couchsurfing to meet people and also get a more personal experience, instead of just doing the typical packaged sightseeing, I want to see where are the other cool places to go are and meet new, interesting, and diverse people. It would be nice to experience a place from a local's perspective-do, see, eat, and drink what they do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet. I am hoping to get my first experiences when I travel through the states for 2 weeks, starting next week :=)

Interests

I like alot of things, I am not to fussy. I guess I am your typical girl, I like shopping, travelling, I love food, I love the beauty of nature, also I love animals, especially dogs (any size), they are my favourite. I love shoes too, Basically I just love to have a good time :)I definatley appreciate the smaller things in life after travelling through Mexico, such as clean water, clean toilets, and english speaking people :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Sex and the City (series and movies), Lord of War, Hitch, Seven pounds, Shawshank redemption, Cruel Intentions, (really cant stand cartoons though) Music: Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, One Republic, Taio Cruz, basically I like heaps and heaps, mostly RnB and Dance though :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming with Sharks :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Live in the moment, you never know how long it will last. Treasure each moment as if its the last. I know it sounds like such a cliche, but it has proved true for me lately. You never know when it will be your last time doing something. And never take anything for granted. Alot of the most precious things can be ruined so easily.

Countries I’ve Visited
