About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"Live the present day, don't run too much into the Future and don't stay looking back at the Past. No matter how many times you will fall, find the strength not to give up and start one more time."
ABOUT ME
I am a Russian and English teacher and I love my job, but sometimes it makes me frustrated)))) I love music it was a real sense of my life when I was in music school, unfortunatelly now I'm only a passive fan.. I'm also totally adicted to travelling - I like getting to know other cultures, but I guess everyone here does. I hope I'm friendly and quite open person - my friends say that, so I belive them. I'm always happy to meet other people and share my experience. I'm also a great listener (I'm not a talkative type though), so if you need a friend, you are welcome in my life:)
PHILOSOPHY
If I have to say anything I'd say: I'd like to become more than I'm now. Change myself all the time and find the sense of my life in that way or maybe just get some happiness and fulfillment. Only when I'm doing something, I'm not passive and make decisions I can succeed. It's simple and obvious but sometimes difficult because nobody is able to help and I can rely only on myself.
Let life be a journey, not a guided tour. Everyone who travels looking for the unknown, without any expectations, will never be disappointed. The most important are small things - impressions, pictures, looks, ideas, which change us and shape our lifes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started my CS adventure with travelling to Prague and i loved it! I always meet interesting people and have great memories from my travels thanks to them!
Interests
I have many interests, languages, travelling, movies, taking picturs, enjoy small cafes and good teas:) I'm totally in love in music - I like playing the piano and singing, that let me keep the distance from hurry of everyday life. When I do something I always put my heart and soul into it. Other passion are cats!!
I'm a little bit crazy about them, but I can learn a lot from them and nobody who hasn't got experience with them can understand that;) Right now I have 3 beautiful cat ladies, the youngest I brought from Ukraine (I adopted her during my EVS and couldn't leave).
I love languages above all, it's really fascinating, because when you learn a language you also learn to see the world from a different perspective and in a way you become a different person.

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything good...there are so many..It's too dificult to choose one exact film or musician, but I like good old jazz made by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong, some singing polish poetry, folk, Marketa Irglova and all classical music( not modern!).
My favourite film is Once and L'auberge espagnole, but I like many others too, I just have really bad memory and never remember the proper titles)))
I love literature, for example I admire contemporary Russian authors, like Makanin, Shishkin, Petrushevskaya. Right now I'm reading a fascinating book about Caucasus by Oliver Bullough.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
danced Papaya on Red Square in Moscow!
EVS in Ukraine
The most spiritual event was Pascha in Ukraine, I still see the streets full of people going to the church at 3am and I feel the smell of hundreds of candles
