My name is Ula. I was born in Poland, grew up mostly in the United States, and have been living in Mozambique for the last three years (first as a Peace Corps volunteer, now working for a marine conservation organization).

I love meeting new people, and as I often travel alone I think couch surfing is an ideal way to experience new places.

Interests

I love meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. Hobbies include hiking, canoeing, singing (horribly), dancing (also horribly), trying new foods, and having interesting conversations over drinks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitch hiked through Portugal and Spain.

I swam in Devil's Pool, Victoria Falls.

I went hang gliding.

I am always happy to share what I have learned, from languages to experiences. I am also passionate about discussing/teaching sexual health, harm reduction approaches regarding drug usage, health/economic disparities, gender equality, linkages between community health and environment, and much more.
