ABOUT ME

I am a one-man reporter, videographer, editor, and producer crew. From Florida to California, and through Hawaii and Alaska, and from Washington State to Washington D.C, I filmed in 175 U.S. cities, interviewed 250 scientists, engineers, policy makers, and other sustainability experts to give viewers an unprecedented look at eco-­friendly solutions for living and working. My independent work showcases my imagination, problem-­solving skills, and ability to work in a self-­directed environment.

Now, I am planing my new TV series. The concept: traveling.

I have more than 18 years of experience reporting news for TV, Radio and Newspaper in Colombia and in the United States. In my latest project, I produced the TV Series "USA Green Stories" 100% by myself, with my own little budget, and just for professional satisfaction.

Laugh is a remedy for everything and my mother is a good reference...Laugh, laugh and laugh as my mother normally laugh.
She is a very happy person.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I learned about CS in June 2009 after interviewing a talented environmentalist man in central Florida. He introduced me to this amazing community. I've surfed many times because of my project! So, I introduced CS as a unique world to a circle of friends so the network is growing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

30+ US States between 2009 to present. It was an extraordinary experience and it has been great so far!... To all the great people that I meet via CS and had the privilege to stay with, many, many thanks.
As a surfer I have enjoyed the hospitality, consideration and confident of my new friends. POSITIVE EXPERIENCES. Amazing people on the road. Thanks to all my new friends in this community. To everybody in all the places that I visited "CS with" thanks a million.

Interests

I am not a singer but love KARAOKE scenarios.
I am the kind of person who can have a good time and some fun by watching great, good and bad 'singers' using a microphone on stage minus the lyrics.
I love movies, I like music of all kinds, I am "bad a terrible" dancer and yes I am a latin guy but not good when dancing.
My interest is also find people and profiles on going green in your community and produce TV-pieces all over the country. In a few words I want you to be in the spot light because I am making news.... I love news... good news.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Humhnnn!!! Many. Not to specify.
I do not drink and I do not smoke but I just need a glass of wine to have share my things!. If 100% confident and confortable we need some time sit and have a drink for that!

Teach, Learn, Share

Many things as a video journalist.
I am proficient in Avid, Final Cut, Photoshop, After Effects, Combustion, and Carrara 3D. I create my own graphics in my TV reports. My journalistic background has given me plenty of tools to create graphics for broadcasting that clearly improves on-air information delivery in English and Spanish. I can share my knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA).

Teach: If you need help or if you have a simple question just ask me.
Learn: There is always something new. Everyday and everywhere I go is a learning experience.
In this speedy world I want to learn yoga. I am also a good listener and love to learn from you and the world.!!!
