To experience the feeling that I wanna go back home - not because I have to :O)

ABOUT ME

I have traveled all my life in every free second and in
2008, when my daughter finished her studies and was able to be financially on her own, I realized a long kept dream: I traveled one year through Australia, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Indonesia :O)

I´m very curious about all the things I don't know.

I love coffee very much (that's my Viennese side)
I love to cook and I'm happy to make you my Viennese "Kaiserschmarrn" (traditional sweet dish for the former emperor).

I think I'm an independent traveler, but it's also great to do things together.

Long before I knew about CS I have hosted travelers in Vienna that I met when I was traveling.

Generally, I love nature and specially big old trees.

PHILOSOPHY

Wo kämen wir hin, wenn wir gingen, um zu sehen, wohin wir kämen, wenn wir gingen ...Kein Mensch ist Illegal ... no human is illegal ...... my freedom ends there, where the freedom of another starts ...Meine Freiheit endet dort, wo die Freiheit einer/s Anderen beginnt Never loose your dreams :O)... and please save the whales ...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS-experience in Tasmania was overwhelming, I got a key for a big house and a car, a sheep and a lama :O)

After my coming back from Australia I hosted a lot of wonderful people from all over the world ...

... and till now, I have never had a bad time with people I met on CS

For more than 20 years I worked as a mainframe-software-engineer on customer-information-systems and speak CICS/COBOL/PL1/JCL/DB2 ...
