Getting a new goldfish and keeping it alive for more than 3 weeks

ABOUT ME

We (Dennis & Dominicus) are two travel enthousiasts and students of philosophy. Dirk-Jan likes to do long distance walking and spent 5 months in New Zealand walking from north to south. Dennis did the pilgrimage on the island of Shikoku and hitchhiked the length of Japan, among other things. Together, we hitchhiked from Hook of Holland (the Netherlands) to Hong Kong.
We're seasoned travellers and like to meet anybody who is fond of travelling as well!

We are hosting people and show them Rotterdam :) Hopefully in the near future, we'll be hosted in return!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've been hosting people continuously one after the other since we started in May and had some good and many great experiences. Looking forward to more! :)

Dennis:

Movies: Groundhog Day, Lost in Translation, Solaris, anything Japanese.
Books: Gothic literature (Wuthering Heights, Frankenstein, etc) or Stream-of-Thought style (Pynchon, Joyce) or generally the classics if its fiction, otherwise prefer to stick to something philosophical, preferably something postmodern!
Music: Rock/Metal (from Nightwish to Celtic Frost to Matchbox Twenty), J-pop/rock/visualkei (from Chatmonchy or Yui to Dir en Grey or Kagrra).
