Namaste Jii!

I’m Utsav, a mountaineer/ engineer living in Manali and working on my dream adventure tourism startup (proudly backed by IIT Hyderabad and IIT Mandi). Life for me has been one big, fun adventure, From representing India 7 times internationally to six hours of intense river rafting in the freezing Ganga -I’ve been fortunate to to gather some crazy stories. From sleeping under the Eiffel Tower to missing way too many international flights (oops!), getting lost in the Amazon rainforest, and partying it up in Amsterdam. ‍♂️️ Whether it’s skydiving in Dubai, cycling from Manali to Leh, bungee jumping 273 feet into an icy river, discovering hidden gems of ruralest India or just soaking up the vibes of life, I’m always up for a new adventure.

I dream to —climb Everest, travel 100 countries, and learn to play the flute one day(still working on that last one ).

If you’re ever in Manali, Surat, or visiting IIT Hyderabad/IIT Mandi, please be my guest! I’d absolutely love to host you and show you our Manali like no tourist has ever seen—homemade meals on the house! 🏞️

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why am I on Couchsurfing? Easy!

1. To swap crazy travel stories that Google can’t tell you.
2. To make friends who might laugh at my bad jokes and still invite me back (hopefully)!
3. To experience a new place through the eyes of someone who *actually* knows what’s cool, not just what’s on the tourist maps.

Oh, I'm all about that Epic soundtrack vibe! You know, the kind of music that makes you feel like you're in the middle of a Lord of the Rings battle scene or running up a mountain in slow motion. It’s all about the grand orchestras, haunting melodies, and those big, goosebump-inducing crescendos.

It’s perfect for working out, or just daydreaming about being a superhero—it fires you up! No lyrics needed, just pure epicness. But I’m not picky, I enjoy most genres too. A few faves on my playlist:

I live with my wonderful family and can provide a separate room for 2 with blankets and other little things if needed!!! So overall you can happily enjoy .....

My mother's homemade food, our traditionally rich Culture, and an experience of being in my incredible India.
