About Me
Nice to meet you!
I am Taishi from Japan! I have lived in San Francisco for two months as a exchange student from Japan. I love to talk to new people and share our great experiences:)
I like to spend time relaxing at home, talking each other about what's going on, and walk around! I am very excited to share great time in the new place:) When I was in Japan, I used to spend time with my family and go to sushi shop or Japanese temples. Therefore, I would like to talk my experiences in Japan and hear your awesome experiences including culture! I love international communications, so everything that we do will be wonderful:)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have not used couch surfing yet and this is my first time to use. The reason I wanted to use this service was because I thought it was more valuable to connect with people than money. I think meeting people and local experiences are wonderful things that can never be changed into money. I want to spend time with my host and learn a lot about culture, food, values and lifestyle. I love to talk about everyday stories and dreams.
Interests
I am curious about many things, especially I love basketball because I have played it for twelve years, so I like to watch NBA games! Also I am very easy going and laid-back. In short, it is very fun for me to experience many new things, so I would like to continue to do new things, such as meeting new people, seeing beautiful landscape, and international communications:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My dream came true just few weeks ago. It was watching NBA game in USA! This is because I love basketball and I had had dream to go to USA to watch NBA live since I started to play basketball(from 8 years old). I took many photos at stadium and felt amazing! I can't describe how I excited, but it was really awesome. So that was the time my dream came true. I would like to share this experience and hear your dream or amazing things!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: easy Japanese if you want to learn! For example, "Arigato" which means "Thank you". "Konnichiwa" means "Hi", stuff like that!
Learn: English, American culture, your favorite spots and food:) I really like local spots not only tourism spots, but also daily places, such as supermarket and cityscape! Also I would like to experience your daily style, food, and habits because I can never experience those things in Japan:) I am excited about everything.
Share: Experiences about what I did in my life in Japan. Especially, I had lived 20 years in Japan, so I can share many Japanese cultures and language! Also I would like to share local Japanese language, pets, music, food, daily style!
