ABOUT ME

I am Thermal Imaging/Machine Vision Consultant and that is what I do for living , but I am also trying to become a farmer and for that I bought for 5 acres of land ( this project is not going forward well, so far though).
I go for birding and bird photography regularly. I go trekking in the Himalaya and camping in the wild whenever I get a chance. I like alcohol ( No, I am not a drunkard) and just love to taste different alcohol from as many countries.

I try to learn about history of mankind, continents, countries and also try to keep up with current affairs.

To meet people with diverse hobbies/interests and travelers.

I used to travel like a tourist, book a hotel, visit all touristic place and then come back hotel, watch TV and sleep. Not anymore! Most probably, I have become a traveler from tourist now a days. I want to meet local people, visit non-touristic interesting or normal local places, try learn/understand local culture/civilisation. I think Couch surfing can help these!

But then, when I fail to get hosted, i end up in nice hotel, still try to meet local people.

I am still trying to do amazing things.
Recently I did Sirsasana ( Head Stand) at 14000feet, before that I did at13000 feet, Chandrashila, Uttarkhand after trekking 6KM in 2 and half hours.
I hope to do Sirsasana now at 17000feet soon.

Finally done Sirsasana at 17000 feet at Khradungla Pas, Leh India on 28 May 2019!

Trekked to Everest Base Camp, done Headstand ( Sirsasana) at 5364m ( 17598.43 feed) on 7 Oct 2022

I can teach how to take good bird photographs, can cook Indian spicy Chicken and do many household works!

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I use less water, make no noise, conserve energy, eat no food or little food at home. And I always invite my hosts out for a dinner at least once during my stay or volunteer to cook some Indian food (I can also cook Indian spicy/Non Spicy chicken, Fish or Paneer and Egg Curry)at home! And I can share/discuss travel stories, history, photography. I can also give tips about almost every state/city in India as I have lived in almost all major cities here.
If any hosts confirms my request, then I could bring something from India as per request.

I also keep room clean, can fix/repair some electronics stuff ( if tools are available). I can help with any household work, like painting, carpentry etc.
