About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Introduce myself to the world, one soul at a time, a light in dark places.

ABOUT ME

I've been a member of the CS community for several years now, in a few different stages of life. When I signed up, I was single and road tripping was a way of life. Now I'm married, and we still road trip! Though now we roll in a motor home rather than a car. With that said, we can't predictably post an open couch since we move constantly. But some day we may end up stationary and invite you over for food, talk, and a couch.

PHILOSOPHY

Bible. Every word of it. Even the tough ones.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'll do my best to answer questions about places I've been. And maybe a couch on-the-go can be arranged if we plan wisely. Remember, we live in a motor home full time!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A fellow backpacker in Europe told me about the site...thanks!

Interests

Outside. Mountain biking. Lake kayaking. Auto restoration. Cooking. Baking cakes & breads. Gardening. Woodwork.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy just about any kind of music. As a kid I listened to Big Band and Oldies rock. Yeah, not your typical kid. Now it's classical and Christian hip-hop.

I'll watch just about any movie almost with a sense of obligation to finish it.

I like perusing Craigslist ads, Mtn Bike Action, and studying the Bible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life is a pretty amazing thing to witness every day, whether it be mine, yours, or that of a plant or animal. Oh and I do know a guy who was killed and later brought back to life.

Teach, Learn, Share

1) Who cares if you get rained on?
2) Don't be afraid to ask questions.
3) Be the light.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Life-changing food, random info, a bike tune-up, a car tune-up, and morning pancakes.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Cambodia, India, Kenya, Malaysia, Moldova, Nepal, Romania, Rwanda, Tanzania, United States, Viet Nam
