About Me

I am a vietnamese but I am currently living in Paris. My name is hard to pronounce and nobody can really say it right. They call me wing, I am born in the year of chicken so you know my nickname.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Most of my friends I met here, they are extraodinary and help me come to a lot realization about life. The more places I go to, the more people I meet, the more I learn, know what I should adopt, appreciate and be proud of my own root and culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Bossa nova, jazz

Movie: Spring, summer, fall, winter... and spring, bedevilled (2010), Korean series (Reply 1988, Hyori’s homestay, High kick through the roof) and I am crazy about Ghibli movies.

Book: Cosmos, We are our brains, the subtle art of not giving a fuck, history year by year

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmmm I can't really think of one right now cause when it's done I don't feel it significant anymore. The thrill is just there when I am thriving for it.

Well but let start low-key, I would say to save for a big plan and try to live minimal, I used to spend only $5 a week when I was in Vietnam. Felt cheap but mostly proud =P Eventhough I think I got backfire cause my needs' hierarchy was real shaky and I had to learn the hard way to prioritize my well-being, still proud. (\^o^/)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some basic yoga poses, correct your posture (well if you tend to slouch), all of my available languages, travel and miscellaneous tips and basically all what I know if you are really interested.

My friends told meyy I got high level of this trait called 'openness to experience', so yess! come at me, teach me everything please.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Travelling to a place is very meaningful to me. Sometimes it's not the place that matters, it's more about the people I share my memories with. All I want is some quality time with you, we can share this and that and if you host me, your name is gonna be in my gratitude board until I die. Forever grateful =D

I am able to talk to you about everything from the earth to the galaxies. I can make you authentic Viet food. Other than that, I can offer a back oil massage (urgh no happy ending ☠️)

I don't have a place of my own so I am unable to host at the moment. But let me take you to get the best pain au chocolat in town cause you know croissant is too mainstream and we can also visit a hidden restaurent under a church, a medieval village or a chateau in the middle of the forest if you like.

Sometimes I can’t believe I am living in a center of history, art and cultures. In every corner you pass through, there are little pieces of history that are well marked. If you understand the meaning of the stories and the places you put your feet on, I believe you will feel it very profoundly as I do. So see you! :)
