About Me
Travel Nerd who believes in organic friendships. It means meet and allow the rest to happen in a natural way. Dont choose friends. Allow friendship to happen. That is the only way it will last a lifetime...
When we don’t need anything and simply interact with the people around us—we build friendships organically. Proximity leads to conversation and shared experiences, which brings us closer and leads to more conversation and shared experiences. Over time strong bonds form, without force or fakery.
Let nature take its course without injecting anything artificial into the relationship building process to force them to blossom more quickly, or sprout in otherwise inhospitable terrain.
Here’s how organic friendships and relationships happen.
First we connect, then we converse, and finally we convert. That’s it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To host travelers and to get hosted in return! To make friends and experience a boundary less world. To learn to make new dishes and hear about amazingly beautiful places. To learn about the differences in culture.
I host when I am free and in town. I keep critically and unfairly busy in my business and when free I travel a lot !
I enjoy meeting new and interesting people across different cultures and religions to further the horizon of my thought and to experience a boundary less world.
I am on CS to make my own journeys and host new people and because of same, I like to support the travel community by hosting and guiding them.
If you just want to meetup then I'm happy to drop into a coffee shop in South Delhi, and discuss Indian culture. I enjoy the culture talk immensely.
I have no other agenda on CS. I am definitely not here to date or meet aimlessly. Please dont send me sexual overtures.
ABOUT ME AS A GUEST: Am a well mannered, quiet and extremely decent guest. I will follow the house rules and clean up after me.
MY HOME: My family owns a 24 bed guesthouse in an expensive, green, forresty and quiet area of South Delhi. It is located between DLF Select City Walk and Saket City Forest. Saket Metro and the nearest bus stop are 700 metres away.
MY DREAMS: I day dream a LOT especially of travelling overseas. I have seen all of India except the 7 sisters of the East.
MY RULES:
(i) I will not accept any request from an empty profile with no picture and no references.
(ii) Before sending a request do read my profile... and write to me as to why you decided to ask me ?! I would love to know if I can learn something new by investing my time in hosting/meeting you or if you would like to learn something from me.
(iii) I need to know your dates 2 weeks in advance. Please stick to your specified dates and time.
(iv) Please choose to stay with me if you have time to talk to me. An hour a day is just cool. I'd like to learn something new or hear a travel tale.
(v) I hope to return my stay at your place by offering you a stay at my guesthouse in South Delhi. Depending upon my availability, I may take you out sightseeing or invite you for dinner or a drink or two. However, please bear in mind that I may not be able to do either. Its hard being me. Workload is more than what I can handle !
(vi) Please leave your room and washroom clean and in order each day and when you exit.
