A curious traveller that already had the opportunnitty to live and travel around some places. Currently, Miriam (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/miriam_gp) and I are living in Guanjuato, México and we are decided to enjoy this experience has if it was our first time in México. ;-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to CS in Hungary where I had the opportunity to spent a couple of days with some people who showed the city and the whole spirit behind this project. After that day in 2009 until now, Miriam and I had had the opportunity to meet people, places and traditions that otherwise would be much more difficult.

Interesses

I would define myself as a curious person. We can have a conversation about how do ants reproduce, as easily as I can talk about politics. I can also forget about all sort of conversations and have a wild party instead…

Movies... There is a considerable amount of movies that I have enjoyed. Some of them are: Cinema Paradiso (Giuseppe Tornatore), La vita è bella (Roberto Benigni), Fight Club (David Fincher), American History X (Tony Kaye), El Abrazo de la Serpiente (Ciro Guerra), The Salt of the Earth (Juliano Ribeiro Salgado and Wim Wenders)...

Music... Arcade Fire, Au Revoir Simone, Bajofondo, Bob Dylan, James, Jeff Buckley, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Miles Davis, Paco de Lucia, Queen, The Blur, The Cure, The Verve; these are some of the many artists in my daily playlist.
There are also some very talented and influencial Portuguese musicians that I really enjoy such as Carlos Paredes, Zeca Afonso, Amália Rodrigues, Pedro Barroso Madredeus,...

Books... The Grapes of Wrath (John Steinbeck) and Animal Farm (George Orwell) are two out of many books that I read and that influenced my way of thinking
