Overview
About Me
My name is Valentina, and I am updating this profile from Denmark...
I' ve been travelling with my partner Iñaki (cs Iñaki Hurtado) for the last three years and a half , and I have to say we' ve been lucky enough to travel to many different places and to meet many different people.
Is quite difficult to talk about yourself, especially when you are travelling, because each place you visit, each person you meet, each new dish you try, changes you...
For example I am pretty sure that my first cs profile was about psychology and university stuff in Argentina, then it became about learning new skills in NZ, and right now the only thing I can say for sure is that I can not imagine my life without knowing new people every week...
What I can be sure of , is that I love having a good conversation, I really like asking questions and enjoy anendless dinner....
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
because, after a few years of "practice" I can' t imagine travelling without Cs.
We had the chance to be hosts and surfers and is a life changing experience.
When we received people in our home, it felt like travelling without leaving our house. We had the chance to learn new things, enjoy with new people, have a good time and at the same time we could help travellers .
Then, when we were surfers we got to know a complete new level of hospitality. And after being received in India, Egypt, Mexico and Denmark we can not imagine a trip without CS. Even if we need to relax, or if we want some privacy and go to a hotel, we would try at least to meet up with someone from the community.
Interests
I love arts (painting, theatre, literature. photography) and social sciences...
I also love meeting new people from different places and cultures, and I think that's the reason I love travelling so much..
I love writing...I had two blogs in spanish one of my own and another with a friend...
Right now I am starting with a new project, that allows me to put toghether my two passions: travelling and psychology... basically, I am starting to help people to start travelling, and helping travellers to do it in a healthiest and more relaxed way... you can have a look to my web page(is in spanish) valentinaferrario.com

Music, Movies, and Books
music, especially Latinamerican music... I love the music that comes from the bottom, that makes you move!
movies...I like drama movies also like comedy, depends on the day... sometimes I like to go deep and find a very meaningful movie to think, but sometimes I just need a romantic comedy to laugh and forget everything else...
books....I really enjoy reading, and now that Iña gave me an e-reader for my birthday I can read anything! right now with my proiject I am not reading that much, but when I get into it I find myself reading five hours in a row...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
mmm...
when I was a teenager, I saw this film with Leonardo DiCaprio called "la playa" and I decided to get to know that island some day...
at that time, our country was in a terrible crisis and my family were struggling to get to the end of each month, I was having a really bad time at school, things didn't look nice to me...
but almost 15 years later, I went to Thailand,
the curious thing was that then I wasn't so interested in such a popular destination... but I remembered that 13 year-old girl, and I went anyway... and it was amazing... the beach was beautiful ( a bit crowded), but the most beautiful thing was that I was giving myself the chance to say: I did it! If I can do this, I can do much more!
Teach, Learn, Share
teach... about teatro espontaneo, psychology... about my country , about doing a working holiday visa...
learn... I would really like to learn about the local culture, education, politics, religion, family... about arts...about everything!
What I Can Share with Hosts
mate! (argentinian hot drink, like a bitter tea... is a tradition from our country and I love the way it gives us a moment to share!)
