ABOUT ME

My name is Whitney, and I grew up in a small area of Virginia Beach called Pungo- where everyone knows everyone and you're probably related! I live on a 1,200 acre farm so there is LOTS of land for hunting, ponds for fishing, and trails for riding 4wheelers. I love it. I live 10 minutes from the beach and if the weather is warm, that is most likely where you'll find me!
I have a great husband and daughter, and am a twin.
I love meeting new people, and get along with pretty much everyone I meet.
I have always wanted to travel the world, and since that isn't possible at the moment, I would like to meet people from all over!

PHILOSOPHY

I think life is meant to be LIVED to the fullest, and everything we experience happens for a reason!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a couch, but also a 3 year old, so I'm not really able to host. But I would love to meet new people and show them all the great things about Virginia Beach- the beach, going out, bonfires, the country, etc.
Several of my friends told me about couchsurfing, and they are all able to host, so we can all show you around!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

none, but my friend has surfed and hosted and all went well, so it's looking good!

Interests

I love the beach, being outdoors as much as possible, or when the weathers nasty I like curling up to a good movie or book.

In the winter I LOVE snowboarding and would gladly move to the mountains if I could in order to snowboard all the time! But I will settle for 1-2 trips/year.

My family and friends are the best, and I enjoy cookouts with family and bonfires on summer nights with friends.

Music is my escape-I love to just get in the car, turn the radio up, and sing along to everything.

I like working out, but go through on/off spells..trying to be better about that!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a bit of pretty much every type of music, but my favorites are country, southern rock, rock, and some rap.

My favorite books are anything by Nicholas Sparks (dude can write a book!), and the Twilight series

I like tons of movies, espcially comedies, chick flicks, and action movies. Some faves are Superbad, Australia, Twilight, Dark Knight, American Outlaws, and a classic- Dazed and Confused

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have made another life, and I think that will hands down always be the most amazing thing I've ever done.
