About Me

I am Rémi, 30 years old from Clermont-Ferrand. (Near Lyon)
I spent quite some time travelling around the world I came back from China in September 2014 where I spent 6 months. After I spent one year in Amsterdam where I was working as System Engineer, then living for 2 years in Paris. Now I am living in Dubai in the same company.

I love sports that is why I try to practice a lot.
I love to speak, meet new people, and I definitely don't like to be bored! Also I am really interested about history and always asking tons of questions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I participate to CouchSurfing meetings in my city, try to host people when it is possible and I surfed to many places (Turkey, Greece, Czech Republic, Belgium, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Bulgaria, Romania...)

I met really great persons but also had really crazy experiences. I love to speak about them so I will be glad to tell you all my CouchSurfing stories. I am also really interested by knowing other's stories.

Interests

I'm really fond of rugby especially ASM Clermont Auvergne team and I like to go running as well. I like to play to tennis also
I enjoy going out with friends and travelling even to not famous places like little village because I think it is important to really know a country in depth and not only main sights.
I did 3 Europe tour, one Erasmus in North of Sweden for 6 months, 6 months in China and 1 year in Netherlands
In November 2014 I went for one month travelling alone in the Baltics, it was my first experience travelling alone and it was definitely worthy!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am trying to improve my Spanish as well as my arabic and I love to help people learning french.
I had the basics of Mandarin but my knowledge decreased a lot since I did not practice much
I teach and taught mathematics, physics and chemistry to students who have difficulties to learn.
I always try to have a funny way to make them understand and memorize !

I have been working with kids lots of time (Au pair, Activity leader for children's birthday, Camp Leader.. )
