About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Vagabonding around the world!!!!
ABOUT ME
Well, until over a year ago, I had never ventured further than North America. I had always wanted to see other places and cultures but it never worked out. Now that I know what it's all about, I work only for my next adventure. Last year I spent 5 months based in London and traveled around Europe and North Africa (Morocco). It was amazing. I never knew what I was missing and now that I do, I only dream of all of the places that I haven't experienced. I have been back in Colorado for about a year now (a total of 5 years) and I had quite the epiphany a little while back. I am about to turn 30!!! No partner! No children! No debt!!! And a good career path, but nothing that I couldn't put on hold for a while. I can honestly not think of a single reason not to go. I am planning on leaving within the next year for a slow meander around the world. Ideally, I could utilize my travels as a career advancement. I work in the natural/organic cooperative industry and I aspire to transition into the Fair Trade industry. With that said, my career is not the reason I am going. I want to trample the globe and experience cultures in every corner of Earth. For the next year I am just going to save, research and prepare. I am going to have to be very conscientious and steady.
PHILOSOPHY
Must leave something for my new friends and me to talk about!!!!!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I truly believe that this is a wonderful program to educate everyone around the world about other cultures. So many people are oblivious to the world outside of their community and the CS project is a great outlet for people to travel and see the world. I dream of a globally-minded community called "Earth."
