Hi, My name is Hyeng Jo Kim. I got married in 2011 with my wife and we are living in Seoul, Korea.
Me and my wife are planning to travel around the world, from April 19, 2013 by bike.
We are extremely positive and full of passion.
So we are trying to host many travelers before going to travel around the world.

Me and my wife have no fear about experiencing new things and enjoy adventure and challenge. We are very positive with the largest value of life and expecting a wonderful life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are leaving in 2013 to travel around the world.
We would like to make a lot of friends through hosting couch surfers before we begin the travel.
In addition, I would like to introduce about the culture of the Republic of Korea for those friends from all around the countries.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have been experienced a few times as a surfer in Malaysia and Cambodia. And now we are hosting in Seoul not only for the couch but also for the dinner and tea time with pleasure. We have met some Japanese, Turkish, Germany, Russian so on..and we are still waiting for new guests.

Interests

We graduated Hongik University. We both are major in Mechanical engineering.
We have been in a rock band since 2003.
I am a vocal, and my wife plays drum.
We love music, travel, and food of each country, which are all we concern about.
And be a friend to someone about the culture of the country are also of great interest.

We love to see music performances such as rock, hip-hop and k-pop as well..and enjoy a variety of genres, including:
The book is our favorite book related in travel, and very fond of Japanese novel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We have been South Island of New Zealand as our honeymooon by campervan.
Glacier travel and trekking in New Zealand were amazing and great experience that we could feel the beauty of natural.
Backpacking in Japan and Malaysia, etc. was really memorable and still unforgetable.

Teach, Learn, Share

We could teach/learn/share about Korean culture, cuisine, music, etc. And our knowledge of the Mechanical engineering major, as well.
In the future, the end of our travel around the world, we can share the knowledge, can't we?
