About Me
"All I know is that I know nothing"-Socrates
Singing and playing the guitar is my release, but good conversation is also pretty great.
Frisbee and slacklining in parks, swimming in lakes and rivers, having a picnic or a walk, and other outdoor activities make me happy :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet and learn from other people. I think it is hard to understand a culture/people/place as a tourists, and couchsurfing helps a little bit. I enjoy friendship, and shared experiences. I would love to host the people I meet in my home one day.
Interests
I can easily be fascinated by almost any subject... but I tend to be very interested in politics, history, economics, language. If someone is passionate about something, from boardgames to photography, it gets me excited as well.

Music, Movies, and Books
Lord of the Rings (first movies as a kid, then the books at 17)-my original inspiration for travel. I thought I would never read again because they were so good. And then I thought, I'll just read the best series in another genre. So then I read Dune by Frank Herbert, and that was also wonderfull. Now I read mostly Non-fiction, like Winston Churchills history of the Second World War.
Most music is good for me, but I cant get into drum & bass, or- as I call it- "boring" techno
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitch hiked from San Jose Costa Rica to Lima Peru in 6 months.
