About Me

Restless wanderer from Sweden that have been humbly traveling the world for 12 years.

Just arrived in Cambodia. Currently in Battambang. No specific plans here. Just to exist! Not sure where I'm headed. 🙂

Possibly looking for work as an English teacher.

*** CURRENTLY living a pretty boring life, besides the travelling. SOBER, WAKE up BEFORE 5am daily, out JOGGING most mornings, GYM a few days a week, going to bed earlier than your grandma and eating HEALTHY. So, maybe I'm not the most fun or flexible travel buddy or social guest at the moment so please take this into CONSIDERATION. 😁
***

Open for new Suggestions/Plans. If you come across my profile and want to host me, please go ahead. I'm usually without plans and open for random locations. 🙂

** Possibly looking for long-term HITCHHIKING/Backpacking partner.

Open to LONG-TERM house-sitting/pet-sitting here and anywhere in the world. 🙂

Instagram: eatsleephitch

I'm an experienced English teacher (among other things), currently quite open for a new job offer, almost anywhere. 🙂

** I don't accept CS friend requests from people I haven't met, so please send me a message instead or yell at me if you see me on the street or find me on social media. 🙂

* I'm interested if you happen to live on a BOAT or do longer voyages on the sea. I'm always looking for ways to cross the sea. **

Slowly and humbly exploring the world.

- On the road since 4th July 2012

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I Couchsurf as much as possible, sometimes attend or create CS gatherings or hangouts with like minded people and also spread the word about Couchsurfing to everyone I meet on the road that is still unaware of this wonderful community.

Usually I'm traveling but, I am sometimes hosting people in my tent or if I happen to have a room once in a while...

I've hosted people in many countries. Plus the people who shared my tent on the road and sometimes in hotel rooms.

- I accept invites for couches, drinks, hangouts or trips so don't be shy. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Started out couch surfing in February 2013 and I'm loving every second of it. This far I have surfed in most countries I've visited. Only had amazing experiences this far.

Don't Couchsurf always because I really don't like planning and usually don't know where I'm going until I'm already there. I also have been hosted by hundreds of random people on the streets and new friends I daily make during my travels. And also enjoy sleeping under the stars. :)

Interests

In the past the things I have found interesting has not always been the same things I have spent my time pursuing. I'm changing that now. From now on - what I WANT, what I NEED and what I DO are all one and same.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to even begin listing...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being born was a pretty big deal for me.

I inspired a Catholic priest in Philippines to start hitchhiking.

Spent a few days with two friends on an uninhabited island In Palawan.

I hitchhiked, AUTOSTOP, a total of over 130.000 km overland, once even from Asia through Central Asia and to Europe.

Lived on a sailboat almost 3 months...

Spent a couple of weeks in a camper-van in Balkans.

Worked 4 months on a big TV production.

So many amazing things happens to me all the time when the way I travel and interacting with new people every single day, one regains new hope in humanity when witnessing all the hospitality people are capable of.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
- English?
- I can show you the true art of getting lost, anywhere...
- I can take you with me hitchhiking and camping.
- How to travel on a shoestring...or without any shoestrings at all!
- I can teach you Swedish or maybe some Finnish.
-I bake a pretty awesome pizza.

Learn:
I want to learn anything you can teach me, never enough. The more weird or uncommon skills, the better. :) But obviously your languages and foods. :)

Currently very interested in learning:

*Wilderness survival/Bushcraft

*Coding
*Web development
*Other remote skills

*Anything related to health and fitness
*Photography
*Film making + Acting
