About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find the perfect cafe.
ABOUT ME
The Hands-On:
I love early mornings, but hate getting out of bed. I love live music, places with strong atmosphere, and people who make good eye contact. I'm a wimp about spicy food. I run, rock climb, hike, camp, sew, dance, drink tea, coffee, beer and wine, and volunteer with harbor seal pups. I have spent time as a barista, a bookseller, an aquarium curator, an environmental educator, a zoo keeper, an energy researcher and a field marketing rockstar.
The Sticky-Goo-That-Fills-In-The-Cracks-And-Holds-It-All-Together (ie: The Important Stuff):
I believe in karma and act accordingly. I am happiest when I remember to think about my life as a both a pilgrimage and a festival at the same time. I believe that relationships and interactions of all kinds are how we truly get to know ourselves, and are the only things that matter at the end of the day. Therefore, I want to learn about YOU - your wacky self, your ideals, your fears, your favorite foods and your childhood memories. Losing myself in music/dance, and having strong nonverbal communication/connection/understanding with another person are two things I would qualify as spiritual experiences in my life. I believe that individuals have the power to and are responsible for creating their own energy; the same goes for groups of people/societies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now, my tiny SF apartment has no couch on which to surf, nor even a spare corner, really. However, I LOVE meeting new people and introducing people to the many fantastic non-touristy places/things to do in this city, so let me know if you're in the area and looking for something to do!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Nothing but positive! This is why the internet was invented.
Interests
Climbing, running, hiking, camping, outer space, bugs, learning about different cultures and lifestyles, adopting bits of different cultures and lifestyles that speak to me, biodiversity and evolutionary adaptations, theology, food.
