ABOUT ME
Hello. I left the United States on May 1st, and have been travelling ever since.
Before this, I was feeling disaffected with life in United States. School, work, marriage, kids, retire, die. It is a well worn rut. I think that I have one life to live, and I would like it to be interesting. For me, travel is interesting by itself, and it also exposes me to all sorts of different people, views, and ideas, so that I can decide how I want to live.
PHILOSOPHY
Everything you know or believe must be open to question.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am travelling, and meeting and interacting with people from the places I visit, as opposed to just looking at buildings, is very important to me.
Getting hosted on someones couch is a great way to get to know someone, and I am also happy to meet for a drink or coffee or any other activity.
I am looking forward to giving back to the community through hosting once I finish my travels.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My favorite couch surfing experiences was in Nante, France. My host was a very interesting person, and very knowledgable about his city. He had just spent a few months touring around the baltic, and actually convinced me to add the area to my travel plans.
I feel that every person that I connect with when I travel has something wise to tell me. If I collect enough little bits of wisdom maybe someday I will be wise.
