**At the moment i am not living somewhere specific, so i cant host anyone. In the near future i will.

I' m Vaggelis, I grew up in Rethymno a small town in Crete (an island in Greece) and i lived there until i became 18, when i moved to Patras to study Physics.

I love meeting new people, explore different cultures. It's really interesting how many differences we have even in the sense of humor but we can exchange really good ideas, philosophy of life, etc. Also music and sailing are some of my passions and i hope to travel all around the world but of course money are a real barrier to this plan !

It's a little bit tricky to write things about my self, so i prefer a good conversation face to face.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all i want to travel as everyone in here. Secondly when i'm visiting a country i really hate to feel ''tourist''. We travel not only to spend some money, eat and visit museums but also to meet locals, learn some things about the way they live, the music they listen to, or some cool places which is difficult for a tourist to find. A country without its people has nothing to say to me, i can always google it otherwise!

I believe that in every music style you can find some diamonds, that's why i'm a non-stopping listener, i discover new things all the time. So you could see me enjoying some masterpieces of reggae/rocksteady music or even post-metal, trip-hop and electro.

Also i really enjoy modal / traditional music and play the oud!!

I really appreciate some directors like Jarmush, Lynch, Fellini and Hitchcock.
