ABOUT ME
Not much going on for me right now... I'm finally free from the hectic life of a student, and realizing that I don't have any real hobbies to fill my spare time D:
PHILOSOPHY
"What you see in others has more to do with who you are than with who other people are." Epictetus.
I try not to judge much. It still happens, but I try not to let it, keke. There would be no point in experiencing new things if I wasn't willing to let them influence me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I switch dominant genres somewhat frequently... Lately it's mostly post-rock (Mogwai, Collapse Under the Empire, 65DaysofStatic, Mono, A Silver Mt. Zion, Yndi Halda, Suis La Lune, Sleepmakeswaves). Musical vestigial limbs include: Neutral Milk Hotel, Elliott Smitch, Placebo, Death From Above 1979, The Heartless Bastards, mewithoutYou, Pale Saints, Circle Takes the Square, Saetia, Sublime, Marciy Playground, Cat Power, Yann Tiersen, Death Cab For Cutie, The Doors, The Mars Volta, Mindless Self Indulgence, The Dandy Warhols, Cocorosie.
Movies: I like most foreign, indie, and noir films, generally. I'm fond of wit, dark cinematography, and little absurdities. My favorites are... Amelie (Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain). Wristcutters: A Love Story. Let the Right One In (Låt den rätte komma in). Brick. Lucky Number Slevin. Better Off Dead. The Departed. American Beauty. Scott Pilgrim vs The World. Pan's Labyrinth (El Laberinto del Fauno). The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Män Som Hatar Kvinnor). Fight Club. Good Will Hunting. V For Vendetta. A Clockwork Orange. The Rules of Attraction. Dogma.
Books: Orson Scott Card, Chuck Palahniuk, Bret Easton Ellis, and Terry Pratchett are favorites. Most of my reading is for pleasure.
Teach, Learn, Share
Oh no. I'm not very skilled. Let's see...
I was pre-med for a long while, and I enjoy learning about medical things, so I guess I could teach some basic ideas in medicine/biology/anatomy? And I'm pretty good with psychology, I suppose, particularly abnormal psych. I know some weird music, if you're into that sort of thing. And I have a billion books from a variety of genres sitting around, so I suppose if all else fails, I could look into something there :]. More lately I became a social worker with Children's Division - so I'm a great person to talk to about community resources (and, of course, risk and safety assessments for children).
My latest fascination is baking. Recipes are always welcome :]. I like learning in general. Psychology, anthropology, mythology, history, international etiquette, popular science, genetics, virology are all good topics. I'm pretty cerebral. But I'd also be happy to learn survival skill sorts of things, budget travel, living out of a backpack, and myriad nifty things travelling people know by rote :).
