About Me

My name is Vaibhav Mopidevi and go by Mopi! I'm a first year student from Bangalore, India pursuing my undergraduate education in Business at The University of Notre Dame in Indiana. I took a gap year after high school to pursue my love for solo travelling, film-making, triathlons and conduct academic research. I love meeting new people and having meaningful conversations. I spent my entire gap year pushing myself outside my comfort zone and exploring new places and trying new things! You can view my adventures on my YouTube Channel - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0t33p-Dr8s

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been inspired by a method of living calling seeking discomfort which says one should try and push themselves outside their comfort zone to experience the many incredible things the world has! I've been seeking discomfort for over a year now and can talk about the things I've done ( such as hosting an impromptu standup set for over 200 people, get invited to a stranger's wedding, dining with a new person everyday for a week, etc) and also talk about film-making adventures.

What I Can Share with Hosts

- I can tell you crazy cool gap year experiences I've had as an 18 year old travelling the world alone!

- I can talk about what it was like to get a certified paragliding license and how it feels to soar a mile up in the air.

- Share what it was like canoeing in The Boundary Waters in Minnesota and having to cook our own food, portage and finding a new campsite everyday
