To finish my PhD and do some good to the patients of a drug-resistent epilepsia

ABOUT ME

I'm a practical person- sometimes to serious, but sometimes to trivial about things... Try to learn, how to enjoy the world around. Years ago I discovered (with a help from my friends) traveling as very good way how to explore yourself and world around.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't do to others such things, that you don't want to be done for you. Basically, If you can change places in particular situation with anyone, that is around, you are in harmony- I'm searching for this harmony...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Offer my place and company, when time allows it. When surf, try to make hosts life more interesting (in a positive way).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Helped to host (showed the city) some of surfers when my friend (Lasma) hosted them...
Hosted one guy from Russia myself. Have been surfing quite a bit. Always find interesting people, with whom we can find some common points of interest.
Have been surfing in Italy;
Have hosted Polish students in Nancy;
Have been surfing in Strasbourg and hosting my host in Nancy afterwards...

Interessen

I like nature, enjoy good photos (not making then by myself, but still). Of course interested in information technologies, and in exact sciences in general... Like (since I'm good at) maths... Dancing- traditional dances , salsa, rock

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Become friends with complete strangers by accident. More than once.
Went from Latvia to France by car in 26,5 hours. Two drivers of course.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I have good knowledge in IT... Programming, pointers, linked lists, data bases, pascal, c++, c#, a bit of php,Java,C, MATLAB (mainly)...
Also in Higer maths- integrals,fluxions, graphs...

I can offer my point of view about things and stuff... A discussion. Exchange. Fun. Silence. Noise. Depends on the particular host ;)
