About Me

Hi there :)

I'm Réka, a young professional, who loves to read, watch series, listen to music and so much more. I'm also a graduate student in Art History and English Culture. If you're into Psychology, I'm an INTP, which basically means I'm usually quiet and reserved at first but after a tea, we will surely get along well :)
I'm totally new to this couchsurfing thing, and as usual I utterly fail at introductions :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've started exploring the world two years ago. Went to Italy first and instantly fell in love with Rome and Pisa, Florence. Visited London in wintertime, and was absolutely astonished by its atmosphere. I usually travel with company, but most of the time they are not available, so I figured, why not share the experience with the locals? :) (Also, an acquaintance recommended me this site.)
I generally travel to visit art galleries and museums, so I can offer you a professional guided tour through halls filled with beauty. I would also love to teach you some Hungarian, if interested.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mainly listen to indie rock, but not exclusively. My favourite musicians are: Aurora, Seafret, Kodaline, etc.

I'm in my quest to get to know more "classic" cult movies (eg. Pulp Fiction, Matrix and such), since I'm not really acquaintanced with them yet and I feel strange when I don't get a reference.
Some of my fave movies are: Midnight in Paris, Birdman, V for Vendetta, Dead Poet's Society. I'm more into series though.

I usually read English (mostly British) fiction, classics. Some of my faves: The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco (to start with an exception), Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë, The Prime of Miss Jane Brodie by Muriel Spark.

Teach, Learn, Share

I generally travel to visit art galleries and museums, so I can offer you a professional guided tour. I can cross-stitch, and I love making custom tote bags.
I would also love to teach you some Hungarian, if interested.

What I Can Share with Hosts

First of all, my knowledge in the Arts. I have many fun facts and crazy stories about paintings and literary works. I can be more "professional" though and guid you through a museum or historic part of your city pointing out things you haven't seen before :)

I can also offer you some traditional Hungarian sweets :)
