About Me

I'm a writer, I think, in the sense that writing is the only thing I can do: I write poems, short stories, newspaper articles and much more (yes, I'm trying to write novels, but it's not so easy).

Music, Movies, and Books

I studied cinema at university, and this is my speciality: I've seen (and write about) a lot of movies, it's very hard to say what are my favourites (my conventional answer is Once upon a time in America by Sergio Leone).

I love rock music (punk in particular, despite my favourites singers are Fabrizio De André, Claudio Lolli and Bob Dylan), but I listen every kind of music (I work in an italian web-radio near Milan, so I have to listen every kind of music: I found out electronic music is very good).

Sci-fi books are basically the best for me (I talk about the classics, like Philip K. Dick or George Orwell); I'm not a ravenous reader: I read slowly, I choose a book with a lot of attention. In the last years I prefer essays, in particular anthropology, sociology and communication. The touvh point of these interests is probably Bruce Chatwin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Since 2014 I travel basically on foot: in that year me and my friends realized a documentary movie about the Camino the Santiago, so we walked for more than a month from France to Spain. Then I decided I don't want to travel in other ways: in 2015, for example, I walked from Menton (France) to Sarzana (Italy), treading the way my grand-grandfather did at the beginning of the century in opposite direction.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Not very much, maybe: I can cook (I cook quite well: my younger brother studied cooking, and I learned something), and I can tell stories of my travels (I travel almost always on foot, I live a bit of adventures).

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Italy, Spain
