About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see as much of the world as I can, for as long as I can, on as small of a budget as I can.

ABOUT ME

I am an open-minded and inquisitive person. I love doing just about anything and my goal in life is to enjoy as much of my time here as possible. I want to know as much as I can about this planet and all of the people in it. I think everyone has an interesting story to tell, and I'm doing my part to make my own life tale full of great characters and fun memories.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a firm believer in the notion that you get out of life what you put in. Life is short and I really want to enjoy as much of my time here as possible. I want to see and understand as much of the world as I can because that is what makes me happy. Friendships, family and the memories that are created with them are what make life worth living to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to connect with people. I believe in Karma. I believe that the best way to receive things in life is to give them first. I want to offer a cheap place for people to stay knowing that when I want to get out and travel that I'll also be able to do it on a budget and meet cool people at the same time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is all brand new to me, but I've heard good things and I want to get on this bandwagon!

Interests

I love traveling, reading books, watching movies and TV series, running, hiking, writing, taking pictures, painting, drawing, cooking, eating, drinking, hanging out with friends. . . pretty much I like just about everything.

Music, Movies, and Books

Soooo many good ones out there, but I'll list a few. Books: Count of Monte Cristo, The Power of One, A Tale of Two Cities, Killer Angels, The Life of Pi, The Alchemist, Rebecca.
Movies: What Dreams May Come, Gladiator, Where the Heart is, Airplane, Love Actually, Gone With The Wind, Burnt By The Sun, Dr. Strangelove. . . so many more!
Music: Pretty much love it all

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked on a commercial fishing boat. That was interesting.

Teach, Learn, Share

Peace comes from understanding. I want to understand more about the world so I can be a more tolerant person. And I want to pass on the important messages I learn from others. Of course, I won't learn anything from others if I never hang out or meet anyone, so another important aspect is to be social and to meet a lot of people. Then we will all be doing our part.
