I’ve grown up with Couchsurfing! Literally. I can’t tell you how many times I had to give up my room because my father decided to host Tomas from Argentina, Chee from the Netherlands, Alex and Tiffany from Australia or any of the other 50 people he hosted while I was growing up with him. I’ll admit that it used to bother me but as I look back on it, I consider myself lucky to have people I’d call friends around the world and I look forward to meeting up with each as I make my own way.
Having seen the reward that my dad gets from hosting travelers from around the world and I hope any hosts will find equal value in hosting me. I am an organized person who believes in treading lightly and helping ensure that my presence brightens a hosts day rather than burdening them. I travel with my own sleeping bag so no bedding will have to be cleaned on my account. Assuming a host is interested to share a meal with me I’m happy to prepare you my typical camp meal of a “just add boiling water” rice or noodle side dish. ;). Of course I’d be delighted to have access to a full kitchen to prepare some real food. I am here for cultural exchange. I love to host people who's life's are completely different then mine in hopes of learning something new about the world. My goal is to find and meet new and interesting people that could open me up to future opportunity for which normally I would have never known about before.
