I'm pretty easy going, laid back and I will always be respectful of your house rules. I'm interested in all kinds of different people, but the ones who get along with me the most are probably those who tend to think a little outside of the box and are open minded to some extend, at least if the goal is to go beyond small talk, what should kinda be the goal somehow I think(?)...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is one of the best ways to actually get in touch with the locals of the place you are visiting. There is nothing more annoying than to find oneself lost in the middle of somewhere, knowing no one, having no clue where to find decent food, funky bars, hidden places without armies of tourists, backdoor poker games, whatsoever. One of the main reasons for me to travel is always to meet new people and to get involved with their daily lives. One thing I've learned so far is that sharing your home with someone is one of the greatest gifts you can make. So as a receiver I'm fully aware of that gift and genuienly grateful for each night on your couch!

Interests

I work as an artist in various fields.
As hobbies I am interested in languages (I study Japanese studies). I do sports (trying to stay fit). I've been doing Judo since I was a kid (got my black belt at age 19)
Also I'm always curious about the local food and (traditional) culture. I like being outside in nature (studied biology). I love to be lazy sometimes.. yeah.
And I do not refuse a drink or two from time to time.
