I want to travel more and meet amazing people. My summer goal is to camp more and read more Hemingway.

ABOUT ME
I am a weird mix of quiet and talkative, depends on my mood. But I love to listen and learn from others. One of my favorite things to do is something new, anything new is always so exciting.

Overall, I'm pretty chill. I like to take life as it comes. I love being outdoors, I spend countless hours at the beach surfing, reading, and doing absolutely nothing...I mean tanning. I love hiking and camping, walking around aimlessly, getting lost, talking with strangers or friends or even just relaxing alone.

I recently finished college at UC Santa Barbara and started working for American Airlines. So I am always looking for fun getaways or new places to explore and cool people to meet. So if it seems like I don't have a plan or am "winging it" it's because I basically book my tickets the day before! But I am reliable and communicative so please don't think I am flaky or not serious about traveling and meeting, I am! And I am always down for new friends :)

I am mostly looking to couch surf, since I am in the middle of moving right now. However if anyone ever wants to meet up or travel together, please ask!

Interests

I love the simple things: walks with my dog, meandering with no real destination or schedule. Reading for fun and learning. Writing silly little stories that no one will ever, ever read. Surfing. Hiking. Chilling to the maximum. Watching movies in my pajamas. Doing new things. Meeting new people. Going to places I've never been before.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movie list for days, but my favorites of all time: Casablanca, Shaun of the Dead, The Princess Bride, 28 Days Later, Pocahontas.

Books: Catch 22, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Where the Red Fern Grows, The Awakening, Game of Thrones.

Music: I like to listen to the sounds of nature? haha jk, but seriously, I'll listen to anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drinking wine and eating seafood in Spain all night, camping under the stars in the California mountains, visiting my mother's hometown in Laos and seeing the river she played in as a child, hiking in Hawaii, shopping the night markets and eating the street food in Thailand, seeing the angkor wat in Cambodia. Everything is amazing, I've been lucky so far :)

One time, on an extraordinarily windy day, a poor little humming bird couldn't gather the strength to fly against the wind. I was walking and almost stepped on it as it was laying on the sidewalk. Well, I picked it up (imagine, a humming bird in my hand!) and as soon as I lifted it, it caught the next gust of wind and flew off.
