About Me

I'm a chill Venezuelan with an itch to travel that I'm never really done scratching. I've been traveling ever since I can remember and ever since I graduated high school I've lived in many different countries, which has only made me want to travel more and learn more about the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and get to know people from all over the world, and what a better way is there to get to know someone than by sharing a couch?

Interests

I absolutely love to travel, read, write, anything artsy or foodie. I am fascinated by different cultures and I believe that one of the best ways of understanding a country's culture is through its food and its language.

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely LOVE to read, and I can read pretty much anything. My favorite genres are probably suspense/horror and comedy. Dark humor is greatly appreciated. My three favorite books are One Hundred Years of Solitude by Garcia Marquez, Ajuar Funerario by Fernando Iwazaki (I don't think there's a translation for that one yet), and The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Burbery. They're all very different, which I guess says a lot about my taste.
My music taste varies depending on my mood, so I can't say I like a specific genre, although I lean more towards Rock and/or Indie.
When it comes to movies I like a little bit of everything, but my particular favorite genres are comedy, drama and documentaries. Also very varied!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving is certainly top of the list, scuba diving is also competing for that spot. I guess diving in general. I was also on the radio once and I like to think I sounded pretty good :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some Spanish, Italian, English. Maybe even a bit of French!
I love to learn about different cultures, and it would be great if I can learn to cook some local dishes and a bit of the language.
I can share stories, many experiences, memories and as much of my culture as I can.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a few fun stories, maybe show a piece of my culture. I can also cook a pretty good breakfast!
