ABOUT ME

I've had pretty sedentary life until I've started University in 2010. Since then I have discovered cheap flights and hostels and that was my travelling up until now. Moreover, I fell in love with travelling, and visited Spain, Estonia, Italy, Denmark, Portugal, Norway. However, I have heard good comments about couchsurfing as it gives the opportunity to get to know locals, get recommendations and of course a couch to sleep on. Thus, I decided to try experiencing new kind of travelling that includes couchsurfing and hitch hiking(I've had my first hitch hiking experience in August 2013 in Norway).

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live by "The only time you have is now". I doesn't mean that I don't care about the future or the past, but I do not allow myself to live just for the future or in the past. I need to have experiences in the present.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No personal experience yet. Though, I met some couchsurfers at my friends place and they seemed really cool people.

Interests

Travelling, meeting new people, tasting wood, drinking wine. Furthermore, I have professional/academic interests like sustainability, energy challenges.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My friends and I were travelling throughout all the Portugal from Porto to Faro. The most memorable moment from the trip was when, we stopped near Atlantic Ocean. It was my first time seeing Atlantic ocean. I was running to the ocean in the beach during the sunset, when I started the Sun was above the ocean and barely touching it, when I reached the water, the Sun's tip was only visible from the ocean.
