About Me
Hi there !
Thanks for taking the time to look at my profile :)
My name is Valentin, and I'm a french traveler. I started this journey at the beginning of February 2022 and right now i'm still exploring a part of the world (maybe near your place 😉)
I would describe myself as curious, friendly and open minded, I love discovering new things or experiences.
But mostly, I have a lot of energy and love to share with people around.
Every day is new, and I feel bless/lucky doing what I do every morning.
I try to keep good habits and workout 1 or 2 times a week, stretch or do some yoga but I also enjoy parties.
I am a big music listener and would like to learn guitar again.
In every day life, reading a few pages of my book in the morning with a warm, strong coffee is one of my favorite moments of the day.
I'm attracted by art in general but I don't have any talent at it haha.
In general, i don't do much tourism spots and I prefer staying with locals and live the "normal life" (that's why I love CS).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm always happy to meet new people and share experiences together.
I'm curious and love to discover the culture of the country i go to.

Music, Movies, and Books
Recently, i would say
For books : "Martin Eden" from Jack London. Deep story, i loved all the development around the main character and his emancipation.
For movies : I really liked "Sabrina", with Audrey Hepburn and "Will Hunting" with Matt Damon and Robin Williams.
For music : I would choose "weird fishes/Arpeggi" from Radiohead, "Where are we going" from Marvin Gaye and "Rolling Stone" from Brent Faiyaz
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I travel with a mindset that i had before going on this trip : I believe in serendipity (When you look for A and you find B on the way).
Recently, I was alone in Tatvan (Turkiye) and met some friends at the reception of the hotel. They were from Erbil (Kurdistan, Irak).
I knew nothing about this city and in general had few informations about Kurdistan.
After a few minutes, they asked me if i wanted to come there with them.
I thought for 5 minutes, I had no plan and no schedule for the next few weeks.
So i packed my stuffs and jumped in the car with those new friends.
I spent almost a month in Kurdistan and I loved every minutes there.
