My name is Valentin. I am 27 years old software engineer working in a german company named SAP.
I love traveling around the world. I have travelled mostly in Europe - my favourite cities are Barcelona and Amsterdam. Outside Europe, I have been to New Zealand for a 1 month trip. I really love this country.

I also hold lectures about programming in the biggest university in my country.
I like sharing my knowledge with the others and often I present or talk in front of people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting local people in the places I visit. I have noticed that its not the same when you visit a city like tourist who only sees the tourist part of the city and when you have the pleasure to speak with some local people for more than just a conversation in the museum or the shop.

Interests

In my spare time I love reading books - fantasy or self-development books. I also read technical literature to expand my professional knowledge. I also sport a lot - mainly football and swimming, but I also run, go to yoga, fitness. I love spending time in nature and also long walks. I often go to the nearby mountains.
