About Me
My name is Valentin and I'm telecom engineer working in a major telecom company as ICT consultant. I live in a quiet village near the sea, 5 min walking from the beach. I commute every day to Barcelona downtown which provides me city life. There are good travel links to the city. I am always looking at the positive side of my life, Carpe Diem believer. I don't use Facebook often but you can have a look at my Linkedin profile to know me a bit more: es.linkedin.com/pub/valentín-pagador-tinoco/2/74b/198
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Why not?
It's a great idea to have sometimes guests and get hosted too. Already travelled by home exchanges for some years, I make a new step now. Sharing economy is moving forward and faster, and is here to stay.

Like too tv series, like Game of Thrones and Penny dreadful, for instance.

Some writers I enjoy: J.R.R. Tolkien, Herman Hesse, Ernest Hemingway, Isaac Asimov, Christian Jacq, Umberto Eco, Marc Levy, Bernard Cornwell, Manuel Vazquez Montalban, Alberto Vazquez Figueroa, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Isabel Allende, Eduardo Mendoza.
Always ready to discover new stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Maybe what I would say could be or not amazing for you.
My daughter changed my life, for instance.
Make a 65km night walking trip to Montserrat, most famous mountain in Catalonia.
As you see, It's very subjective.

Teach, Learn, Share
Learn: everything, open minded
Teach and share: depends on your preferences, lets talk about that when you come or I stay in your place.
Love history, particularly catalan and egyptian cultures.
I'm looking always forwards, very positive guy here, but I think understanding history could make us better and avoiding make some past mistakes.
I am also a fan of bookcrossing, if you like too that concept, bring with you a book you really enjoyed and take one of mines (book languages available at home: Spanish, Catalan, English and French)
