Overview
About Me
My name is Valentin, but some people call me ''Pelado'' (bald headed). I come from Argentina, a beautiful country with so many things to visit and to do, but I now live in another wonderful country, Germany, where I have decided to continue my life.
I love music and nothing can make me happier than sharing a guitar moment with people.
I finished Med School in my Country, where I worked for a year, and then my wife and I moved to Germany where I continue my medical training and she continues her Dentistry training. Someday I'll become a surgeon, but my dream is to become the health minister of my country, if I decide to go back there.
I am very open to learning about anything, and I'm quite sure that there's no better way to do that than meeting people and listening to them, and they can learn something from me as well.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I think it it is the best way to really learn about the place you are visiting. About its culture, its people, to know what to visit. It's a way to live what the people who actually live there live every day, and that will always be more fulfilling than what the usual tourist does.

Music, Movies, and Books
In my family you start with music before you are born, and I'm not the exception. I'm a huge rock fan. Nothing can make me smile so easily as any Beatles' song or listening to what Bob Dylan has to say.
I started reading books only a few years ago, but I could not stop since that moment. I am very open to read about almost anything.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2019 I went to a competition for medical students from my country and I won the second-place prize, which was a scholarship to come to Europe. I was supposed to stay for a month, but the pandemic started and I could not come back to Argentina. I ended up staying for 6 months and I had a lot of great experiences and met a bunch of super nice people.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love Argentinean rock (we call it, rock nacional) and I can show any 70's rock fan a lot of music from here that will probably make my guest or host want to keep listening to our music.
I can play the guitar and l'd really love to play music with other people, learn from them and share what we know.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a lot of energy and whenever someone wants to do something, just count on me.
An enjoyable conversation with some wine is something that I would never be able to reject.
I can cook some "argentinean empanadas" if you like!
