About Me

Hi! I'm Valentina and I'm trying to be as proactive as possible to not to have regrets about things that I haven't done in my past!

Despite the fact that I can be shy sometimes, I can surely call myself a friendly and open-minded person! I love lots of things and I'm curious about the world where I live.

People call me an ideas generator and I like my creativity that happens everywhere!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a SURFER: Isn’t it exciting to have a friends all over the world and to know more about other cultures, believes and values?
I know that there is a huge community that shares my ideals and I like to transfer my knowledge that i got from my trips into my own life to improve it!

I lived in a host family, I lived with strangers on CS and I found lots of amazing people. So as a HOST I want to return this favor and let people travel and meet locals so there will be no boundary that hotels/trip tours are making to the traveler. I want other people to get the proper hospitality from my side that they surely deserve.

Music, Movies, and Books

ALTERNATIVE!
but I prefer some genres like indie, neo-classic and post-rock/ambient!
don’t be surprised seeing me dancing on pop/metal/other types of music! There are gems everywhere!

My favorite authors are: Oscar Wilde, Arkady and Boris Strugatsky, Mikhail Bulgakov, Vladimir Nabokov...almost all of them are Slavic but I read when I have time for that.
The last book I read was “The curious incident of the dog at night ” by Mark Haddon. I’m in love with things like that and pop science recently.

I am also fascinated by Ted Chaing, Jerome Salinger...

I like sci-fi, thrillers, fantasy, and I am terrified but still watching horrors!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm studying languages(English, German) and I would love to know more about world where I live! I'm open to everything new and Im interested in gaining new skills! Just imagining that there is an RPG tree with skill branches like in video games!

I love cooking and I can make a genius food out of leftovers.

basically, just ask me and I will figure out if I'm master in some sort of things or not! I doubt that would be real fun!

I would also like to share some of the stories that happened to me in my last trips! The quintessence of shared stories and feelings are incredible and I started to value this not a long time ago. I want to live in harmony with myself and my surroundings.
