About Me
Hi everyone!
I'm Valentina, I was born in a small town in the North of Italy and I've just graduated from Venice University.
As a little girl I loved listening to my uncle retell his travel stories, and I guess my passion for travel started growing ever since!
I think I might be quite shy at the beginning, but I warm up quickly and love meeting new people and sharing experiences!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm the happiest when I travel.
I don't think I can find words to properly describe the feeling I get when I'm in a place I've never been to before, doing things I never thought I would... though I think most of you would understand me!
I want to explore as much of the world as I can, and earn as many new experiences as I can.
I love talking with people who come from a different background and sharing stories and experiences, and I also enjoy to have a local's point of view on the places I'm travelling to, so I thought this would be the best place to come to!
Interests
When I'm not travelling I'm just your everyday girl who loves listening to music, going out with friends, reading... same old! I also love skating, I've been practising figure skating for 15 years now!
Something I love just as much as travelling is photography, of any kind. I love taking pictures of places and things I like, I love trying to capture life in stills and I love trying to express meaningful messages through it as well. I think art has such a great power to it, and I'm passionate about any type of it!
As somebody with a passion for travelling, I'm interested in any type of talk related to any other culture, too!
The list of things I like could just go on and on forever though, so for now I will just stop here!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two years ago I spent a month and a half in Japan, doing volunteer work in exchange for accomodation. I know it's not that special, but at the time I was a lot more introverted still, and I think the experience (which is to date the best of my life, btw) really helped me to come out of my shell!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning about new cultures and sharing experiences!
I am seriously interested in any type of talk with people who come from a different background, and I would like to learn about types of arts and lifestyles I still don't know about, too!
On my part, I'm always happy to offer my own stories in return, and share about my country, life and interests!
Be it any topic, not only funny or lighthearted, I'm here to talk and listen!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Language exchange and, more importantly, Italian cooking and a lot of fun stories!
