About Me

I was raised in Tomsk, a small Siberian town with the great number of Universities. I’ve been close to this university culture from very childhood because my parent's flat is right in the building of one of them. In 2013 I moved to Saint-Petersburg and I’m enjoying it since then.

I like walking and I'm doing this a lot, as well in the city I live and the one I visit.
Generally, I love to travel in space: by train, bus, airplane, bicycle, or horse. And sometimes a journey is as good as the destination.

I'm enjoying different kinds of sports activities, here's my favorite, but I'm always happy to try something new: snowboarding, roller skating, ice skating, skiing, and badminton.

I'm always happy to talk about languages, art, architecture, everyday life; to discuss different ideas and things you really like.

My main interests are constantly changing. Now I'm dancing lindy-hop, enjoying Soviet architecture and snowboarding

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: classic rock, some indie. But now I don't listen a lot of new bands :)

Generally I like French cinema.

I enjoy Russian classical literature, and a mostly American and English literature of 20th century

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I found a bear pad in the center of my home town.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to play chess and how to cook American cookies. And we can even try to change the battery of your iPhone together.

I really like learning, so I'd be happy to learn anything new

What I Can Share with Hosts

The stories about life in Russia (in European and Asian parts of it)

We can discuss everyday life and some high-thoughts topics.

I feel as an independent surfer, I really like being alone and always have plans what to do in your city. But if you're in the mood for talking or walking around, I'd be happy to join :)
