Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the best way to meet people and learn about the place and the culture. It's way more than just "staying somewhere for free", and I believe travellers share a common language that's unknown to anyone who has never left home for good!
I am very keen on meeting new friends and having someone that can show me around, go out for a good beer with me and teach me something about the place :)

I've surfed in Birmingham, Cardiff, London and Dublin so far at it was amazing, my hosts were super fun and it felt like we had known each other for ages :) I can't wait to surf more and hopefully be able to host as soon as I'm settled down!

Interests

I'm really into trying and experiencing new things, I need excitement in my life or I'll get bored! I consider myself very open minded and I try and do everything I can to make sure I expand my mind constantly by talking to someone new, listening to new music, watching stuff, reading stuff, experiencing stuff!

I love music, Psychology and anything science although you'll probably have to explain it to me a few times lol.
I also play the guitar (poorly), read a lot, talk a lot, eat a lot and I like cooking and trying new recipes and types of food; I love finding out interesting things about different cultures & traditions. I also like singing. I have an unconditional love for cats, especially cuddly ones, and for koalas (haven't met one yet but I'm sure we'd get on well)

Music, Movies, and Books

I really listen to everything that can make me feel something;
I love reading, currently my favourite book has to be ‘Wild’ by Cheryl Strayed.
I don't know much about films really, but I'm really into tv series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Left my home, family and friends to go to the UK completely by myself and started a new adventure there! I also lived in Malawi for 6 weeks volunteering and traveling.
Oh and I walked on burning embers once :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play the guitar without knowing how to read music (lol) and we can cook together, I can make you loads of Italian foods if you're interested (I've got pizza skills haha) and I'd like to learn about YOUR typical food! Also I can teach you Italian, yes, even swearwords (I know that's what everyone wants to learn first!)

We can go out and have a coffee or a beer together, I never say no to a nice evening out. We can share music, tv series, books and film knowledge and basically talk about anything that comes up.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm clean and tidy and also quite chatty so if you look for someone to have fun with, I'm right here! ;) We can cook and talk a lot, sing or play or go for a walk! Plus, if you need any help with chores or anything else, I'll definitely give a hand.
I will 100% respect you and your space, so if you're free and you feel like showing me around that's absolutely great, but if you're busy I won't bother you at all :)
