About Me

I'm an Italian student currently living in Rome.
I lived in the United States for a year working as au pair in New York and Connecticut and I had the possibility to visit different areas of the country. I lived in Madrid (Spain) too.
I love to see the prospect from locals because you can see wonderful places and do great things you can't find on local guide. Plus it's an amazing cultural exchange!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that it's the perfect way to know people all around the world. It's more than a cultural exchange! It doesn't matter if you can't host me, even hangout for a coffee it's something nice to do together! If you are visiting my country I'll be happy to show around and if I'm visiting your country it would be nice from you to teach me the secret places that make your city wonderful on your eyes. I don't want you to be just a travel guide, but I'd love to remember a place thanks to you!

Interests

I love all the sports and of course travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to think that I'm always evolving. I listen all kinds of music until I find the song who represent me the most in that time of my life. It doesn't matter if it's pop, rap or whatever. I prefer spend some time at home watching a movie instead of going to the movie theater. It's more personal (and if I'm going to cry nobody is going to see me). Usually I organize some "cinema night" in my garden with my strict friends. I have a preference for all the romantic movie and comedia. If I have enough time I love to read a nice book maybe at the beach during the summer or I'm bed during the winter time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My stay in the United States changed my life. The first time I visited NYC I felt like if I found my place in the world. I would say that jump on that plane for the first time in my life and visited the country alone at the age of 19 was something pretty amazing to me!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn a different way of living. Just staying on my couch trying to learn a language or a different culture is usefulness to me! I don't know your personality so I can't tell what I can teach you, but I'm adapting at every single situation. If you like to chill at the end of your work day we can just cook some Italian food, if you are feeling more adventurous maybe you can teach me how to surf (it's one of my biggest dream!), if you want to have fun we can go to a pub or to a disco together. Well there are so many things to do together to know better each other!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can't tell you that I can play the guitar or singing a song for you as the other guest because I'm not good at it. But after a glass of wine we can for sure do a karaoke night! I can cook something for you if you like it or teach you some Italian or Spanish. I can offer you some good company and a lot of crazy stories from my traveling experience.
