Hola!! Hi! Ciao! Hallo! Salut! Oi! Me puedes decir Vale. Soy de Chile, donde crecí y donde estoy actualmente estudiando Ingeniería en Recursos Naturales Renovables. Me encanta la naturaleza y hacer lo mejor que pueda para cuidar el medioambiente y ayudar a otras personas a hacerlo también.

Me encanta viajar y la primera vez que viajé sola fue al hacer un intercambio escolar en Francia el 2018. Luego viajé sola durante un mes en el norte y sur de Chile, el 2021 viví por 3 meses trabajando como Au Pair en Italia (viajando cada fin de semana) y entre el 2022 y 2023 pasé 7 meses en Holanda por un intercambio académico en la universidas.

Soy una persona muy curiosa, me gusta hacer muchas preguntas sobre diferentes temas, pero lo que más me interesa diría que son las culturas, tratar de entender la política y economía de cada país, la actualidad, historia, espiritualidad (astrología, tarot y cualquier otra creencia que puedas tener) y el yoga. También me gusta mucho cantar y estoy comenzando en el mundo del teatro musical.

También me encanta aprender idiomas, porque los veo como una forma de acercarme a las personas de mejor manera y así construir mejores relaciones a través de todo el mundo. Además soy tutora de español en la plataforma de iTalki y fui voluntaria en la organización internacional AFS por la misma razón💬

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I would like to meet new people while travelling and get out of my comfort zone in order to know more and more. I’m very interested in hearing everyone’s point of view of things, so that I can get a better picture of the world and it is real magical how different and the same we all are. I think going through experiences such as living with a local for a few days, really change your way of seeing things and you get a little bit of that new person and incorporate it into your day to day life. I believe you are never the same person after experiences like Couchsurfing, Workawaying, Au Pairing, an exchange, etc.

I met the most kind and interesting people during my time abroad so now I would be happy to help people around, even though I am not able to host at the moment

I love relaxed music, a lot of it Indie and Bossa Nova💜 I would gladly share my playlist with you! I love adding songs in different languages, even those I’m not learning yet, such as Catalan or Arabic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learned 7 languages at the age of 20 (Maybe 6.5, because my Dutch is not so good😅)
Did Workaway on a farm during the summer after High School (January 2020, just before covid)
Broke my arm during my exchange in France, got a stick stuck in my ear in Italy and a lightly dislocated knee in the Netherlands (Call that "my body adapting to a nee country")😂
I did Scuba Diving and Rafting for the first time last year!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Great conversations of a looot of topics. We could cook one typical Chilean dessert or dish. And of course, I can offer you a home to stay at when you come to Chile someday!! (You must come if you can😍)

I could also read a bit of your Birth Chart (Astrology✨) and we could try to read the tarot cards (I am still figuring out how to do it though).
