About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn, experience, have fun

ABOUT ME

I try to see the beauty in little things and I get awestruck and inspired pretty easily, which makes me a quite enthusiastic travel companion.
I love to travel, discover new places and new cultures, and talking to people and sharing life stories. I also love talking about random philosophical topics at times, books, art but also really random fun stuff. All in all, I'm quite easy to get along with.

PHILOSOPHY

Here and now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only had an experience Couchsurfing in Amsterdam and I loved it. It's really something that makes you regain trust in people.
I currently have a couch available if anyone needs a place to crash in Bologna.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only been hosted once in Amsterdam with a friend. Our host was fantastic and I feel like it has been a unique learning experience.

Interests

I love reading, talking about anything, drinking coffee as a true Italian, drinking tea (after living in England for 3 years, I kind of expected this would happen), taking millions of pictures, writing (travel journal, random thoughts, poor attempts of poetry) and taking walks in the nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading, listening to music and watching movies but inexplicably my mind goes blank whenever I'm asked what kind of books, music, movies I like. I guess it depends a lot on my mood, season, place in the world? Anyways, trying to list some favourites:
As for books, mostly modern classics. My favourite of the moment: The Outsider, Albert Camus. I could also re-read Norwegian Wood by Murakami countless times.
I think Into The Wild will keep being my favourite movie for a long, long time.
I listen to lots of music, most genres. Beatles, Pearl Jam, Beirut, R.E.M., Fleet Foxes, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Mumford and Sons, lots of old Italian music (De Andrè, Guccini, Battiato, De Gregori)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The midnight sun while in a cabin in Norway. Nature at its best.

Skinnydipping at sunrise on a heavenly beach on the Carribbean Sea, in Mexico, with some of the best friends I could ever have.

Teach, Learn, Share

Every person we meet is a universe of different perspectives, thoughts, attitudes, ways to look at the same apple on the same table. All that we should do is to acknowledge that difference is a treasury, not a threat. Once we embrace this, the world will be a much more beautiful place to discover.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Egypt, Finland, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
