Overview
About Me
Hello :) my name is Valentina, I am an English teacher working at an American institute of languages and at the same time I study Electrical Engineering at university. I love learning new languages, playing the guitar and drums, going out and spending time with friends and family, reading books and watching movies. I am a very committed person that loves studying and discovering new things. I always try to do something productive everyday, which is the reason why I started working at a young age and why I love taking lessons/classes/courses related to different things.
I am a very happy person so you will always see me laughing! I am also very outgoing, I love meeting new people and going out for dinner, drinks, and just spending time with friends at restaurants/cafes/bars etc.
I have had the opportunity to travel a lot in the past, mostly to Europe, and I have personally experienced how great it is to meet new people from all around the world and to get to know different cultures. It is also amazing to learn new languages as you travel, because there's no better way to learn than practicing with native speakers and staying in touch with your target language on a daily basis.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2013 I visited 9 countries during a massive tour around Europe that lasted about a month. I visited almost 20 different cities, went to the most amazing museums around the world (the Louvre Museum, British Museum, Museo el Prado, Palazzo Vecchio), visited great Stadiums (Camp Nou and Santiago Bernabéu), tried different kinds of food and visited the most important touristic places of each city. It was the experience of a lifetime!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I really love to make people feel welcome, as if they were right at home. I also enjoy being the kind of person that shows people the beautiful and interesting places that my city has to offer, because there's nothing better than having a native citizen who can help you to get around and to take you sightseeing. I can also help with translations, since not many people speak English in my country and communicating may be a little bit hard, but I'd be more than happy to help guests with Spanish! And most importantly, I'll make sure travelers have a great experience in my city, I can introduce them to my friends, take them to great places to eat and/or have a few drinks, and to just enjoy their visit!
