ABOUT ME

Vale is a spontaneous, fun-loving adventurer. She is always thinking up new trips to cool places, interested in meeting new people and passionate about discovering local customs, eating local foods, and seeing interesting, out-of-the-way places. She tends to avoid tourist-traps like the plague. She enjoys traveling, whether visiting large cities, roadtripping for 1000s of kilometers or camping in the wilderness. She is an excellent and amusing conversationalist, equally comfortable meeting Norwegian farmers, genius scientists, or students and young people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to couchsurfing, but I finally have my own place and my own couch I can offer up in return, and I have a bucketlist of places to visit. So hopefully this website can be useful!

Interests

I enjoy travel, but I am also passionate about sport. I have been seriously running for about 1 year and my goal is to beat my time every time! I am preparing my second half marathon but i am considering to focus on triathlon very soon! I also like skiing, swimming, and try new things every time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2011 I visited Niagara Falls. In one day we managed to see both the U.S. side and the Canadian side, ride the boat up to the waterfall, go behind it and then we went out again at night when they lit them up with floodlights! It was an exhausting day but it was totally beautiful and worth it.

In 2012 I went on a roadtrip through fjord Norway. We covered 3350 km in 7 days! It was a lot of driving but the landscape was absolutely amazing. Norway is gorgeous.

I also pet a tiger and a baby lion one time! :-P
